A-LISTERS Sharon Stone, Michael Douglas and Vin Diesel are just some of the high-profile fans of artist Todd White’s work.

And this weekend, art lovers in St Albans will get a chance to see his instantly recognisable work when it is exhibited at Gallery Rouge on Chequer Street.

Todd is probably better known by the younger residents of St Albans in his former role as lead illustrator for children’s cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants, but his meteoric rise has seen collectors of all ages clamouring to own his work.

Described as “Rat Pack meets Picasso”, his playful aesthetic has seen him in the role of official artist of the Grammy Awards in 2007 and work in conjunction with Coca-Cola.

The exhibition will begin this Saturday at 10am and finish on Wednesday (September 28). All work will be available to buy and the artist, while not attending the exhibition, will create dedications for all clients who buy his work.
