PIANIST, composer and educator Tim Richards is bringing his trio to the Herts Jazz Club on Sunday night.
Best known as the founder and leader of the groups Spirit Level and Great Spirit, Tim has been active on the international jazz scene since the early eighties.
The trio have entertained audiences from Inverness to Instanbul with a combination of contemporary originals, bluesy grooves and swinging standards.
The Jazz Club meets at Campus West in Welwyn Garden City and tickets are �10 online at www.welhat.gov.uk/cw, �12 on the door and �5 for students and under-21s.
