WARM-hearted French subtitled comedy, Women on the 6th Floor, is being shown by Harpenden Film Society in the Public Halls next Wednesday evening, March 27.

Set in 1960, a stuffy stockbroker falls for the family’s new Spanish maid and begins a social revolution in the servants’ quarters. The film is the French equivalent of the popular movie The Help.

The showing starts at 8pm and tickets are £5 for non members and £3.50 for members, available from www.harpendenfilmsociety.co.uk, WH Smith and the Public Halls.

Tickets are also available on the door for £2 for A-level and GCSE French students.
