Herts-based band, The Vaulted Skies, return to the local live scene this week as their music heads for TV screens Stateside.
Record producer John Ravenhall, who has worked with Sir Paul McCartney, Sting and a host of other iconic figures within the music industry, has shortlisted material by The Vaulted Skies for use in a number of US television productions that he is working on as music director. While the band waits for details of how and when their tracks will be used, they are headlining the Live Music Project at Trestle Arts Base this Saturday (28). The line-up at the Russet Drive arts base will also feature The Neverists, Bright Conclusions and George Smith.
The event will celebrate the release of new recorded material by The Vaulted Skies whose material spans post-punk/new-wave guitar tracks, dance tunes and soundscapes.
Derek Watson, boss of St Albans store Empire Records, said of their last appearance: “Great songs, entertaining performances; the whole package. If a band’s objective should be to ‘always leave them wanting more’, then The Vaulted Skies achieve this with aplomb!”
