An award-winning documentary about the professional and private life of music icon Amy Winehouse is the next screening from Harpenden Film Society at the Public Halls.

Amy can be seen at 8pm next Thursday, April 21, and takes an honest look at the relationship between art and celebrity and the devastating spiral of addiction in the story of a singer who became one of the biggest music legends in British history despite completing just two albums.

It features Amy’s iconic music and previously unseen footage.

Tickets are £5 for non members, and £3.50 for members, available from Harpenden Public Halls, WHSmiths in Harpenden, Godfrey’s Fish and Chips or the website.
