During the past four decades, the pub has seen some big names pass through its doors including Paul Young, Chas & Dave, Toyah Wilcox, Hazel O’Connor and most recently, Chrissie Hynde.

Just two years after The Horn opened in 1976, Pete Gent from ABC Music played at the pub - and photos of his visit and others are all contained in its archives.

To mark the anniversary, Turin Brakes are giving a sold-out show tonight (13) playing all their hits spanning 15 years and eight albums and tomorrow - the pub’s actual birthday - The Revivals will be playing.

On Saturday BBC Introducing will be broadcasting live from The Horn where bands like The Wholls, Stone Thieves, The Ages, Scarlet Rascal and Blue Tongued Skinks will be performing.
