A DYNAMIC dance show which showcased talent from across the county last weekend was a sell-out success.

Dance Unified, which showed at Campus West Theatre in Welwyn Garden City last Friday and Saturday, saw over 150 performers perform a wide range of dancing styles to an audience of friends and family.

Brendon Hansford, founder of St Albans' Alter Ego dance school which performed on both nights, helped organise the show and performed eight dances himself over the course of the two evenings, including a hip-hop solo.

Brendon, aged 26, said that the show had received excellent feedback: "Our show was deemed the best Hertfordshire has ever seen and it's true that the performers really did wow the crowd on both nights. I think people were stunned by the level of talent on display."

He added: "The whole point of Dance Unified was to bring dancers of all abilities together on the same stage and in that respect it was an outstanding success. I met so many new people and I'm already looking forward to preparing next year's show.
