A SONG recital entitled Heaven’s Above! will be given by one of the area’s best-known tenors Geoffrey Ward at a city-centre church next Wednesday lunchtime, March 9.
He will be singing a wide range of songs describing the sea, sun, the stars and the weather accompanied by Alex Hall at the piano in the concert at 1pm at St Peter’s Church in St Albans.
Both are members of St Peter’s Church Choir where Alex recently conducted the Carillon Chamber Choir.
There is no charge for the concert but there will be a retiring collection in aid of Grove House.
