DEMON Barber Sweeney Todd will be let loose on the stage of the Trestle Arts Base in St Albans next weekend.
Senior students from performing arts academy Act Now! will be putting on the schools edition of Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at 7.30pm next Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24, with a 2.30pm Sunday matinee.
Two West End actors, Emily Bull and Elliot Harper, acted as musical directors and advisers for the production, sharing their expertise and knowledge with the cast. Emily was one of the West End cast of Sweeney Todd at the Adelphi Theatre, London in 2012.
