MAKING their first St Albans performance since the internet release of their first album this summer are the Swanvesta Social Club who are hosting a family afternoon at The Farmer’s Boy in London Road on Sunday.
The album features self-penned songs in the Cuban tradition, folk anthems such as Guantanamera and Latin settings of contemporary pop songs such as I Gotta Feeling.
The afternoon, which runs from 2pm to 5pm, will feature a barbecue and competitions. Steve Oakham and Gary Sear will be appearing in the evening.
Performing at The Farmer’s Boy tonight (Thursday) are Radar Love and next Thursday, September 15, Small World make a return.
