ORIGINAL superhero artworks are going on display at a Radlett gallery from Saturday.

The exhibition, entitled Superhero, can be seen at Art You Grew Up With in Station Road until June 29.

This month celebrates the 75th Anniversary of Superman and among the items on display will be a very rare, signed, and original Superman drawing by Joe Shuster, the Canadian-American comic book artist best known for creating Superman.

Superhero, will also feature artworks of legendary superheroes from the Marvel and DC Universe comics including Spider-Man, Thor, Captain America and original hand-drawn art work by Batman creator, Bob Kane.

The exhibition is free and an open day this Saturday, June 15, offers fans a chance to meet superhero artist Des Taylor, famous for his comic creations and his books How to Draw Comics and Manga, who will be on hand drawing the superheroes live.

Russell Singler, founder and owner of Art You Grew Up With said: “As a massive Superman fan myself, I was beyond excited to acquire this original Superman drawing and that I am now able to show it off for the very first time to fans of the comic and also art lovers.”
