Summer Sounds is back at Clarence Park in St Albans next Saturday, July 26.
The music festival for home-grown musicians is dedicated to showcasing young talent from Herts and includes a wide range of musical acts performing on two stages throughout the day.
Many acts applied to be included in the event and the final programme was decided by a panel of young people making up the Summer Sounds steering group.
The line-up features an eclectic mix of acts ranging from the Indie and punk-pop stylings of acts like Blue Tongued Skinks, Eutony, Bright Conclusions, The Neverists and Trash Boat through to new acoustic and folky singer-songwriters like LivziEm, Franklin, Aja, Ije Amaechi, Oliver Bannister and India Mason-Mills.
Summer Sounds is a non-alcoholic event for young people aged 13 to 19 and admission is free. Over 19s will be allowed in to accompany a younger attendee and adults and families can listen from outside the cordoned-off area.
There will also be an opportunity to ride a rodeo bull, a selection of food stalls including vegetarian options, information stalls and activities to take part in.
Summer Sounds runs from midday until 6pm.
