YOUNG American pianist Stephen Beus is to give one of his two debut UK solo recitals at a local school next month.
Stephen, who was born in 1982 and showed an unusual talent at an early age, is appearing at Beechwood Park School in Markyate at 7pm on Saturday, February 20.
He took his first piano lessons at the age of five and made his orchestral debut four years later.
Stephen graduated from the Juilliard School of Music and has won several prestigious competitions. He has also recorded two albums.
His programme at Beechwood Park will include music by Bach, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Medtner, Griffes and Barber.
