GODFATHER of British jazz Stan Tracey is appearing at the Herts Jazz Club on Sunday evening.
Pianist Stan, who lives in St Albans, is widely regarded as a landmark figure in British jazz and beyond and has received countless awards and praise in his six decades of performance.
To mark the release of their new double CD Soundcheck, Stan and Clark Tracey (drums) will perform an inprovised duet, joined later by Andy Cleyndert on bass.
The evening begins at 7.45pm at Campus West, Welwyn Garden City, and tickets are �12 online at www.welhat.gov.uk/cw, �15 on the door and �5 for students and under 21s.
