ST ALBANS-based community theatre company Katalyst is putting on the third show of its inaugural season this month.
A Slice of Saturday Night, the sixties musical by the Heather Brothers, is being performed at the Bull Theatre in Barnet from next Wednesday, October 7, until Saturday, October 10.
It is a feel-good story of love and life which follows a group of teenagers and their Saturday night at the Club-A-Go-Go under the watchful eye of owner Eric "Rubberlegs" DeVene.
The show features 32 songs, comedy dancing and over 20 young actors and musicians.
Producer Andy Mills said: "We are very pleased to continue our commitment to bring cutting edge drama and fun-filled musicals to local theatre and in particular to involve as many young people as possible in our shows."
Tickets for the show can be obtained online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/katalyst or by calling the box office on 07809 504446.
