Students on scholarships from 19 schools will start the new summer term with a St Albans theatre arts school.
Best held auditions earlier this month for its St Albans school and David Bevan, co-founder of the theatre school said: “It’s been a delight to see the enthusiasm and talent that’s out there, and to be able to bring this new energy into Best is both a challenge and a thrill.
“We know they will have a fantastic time with us and that the coaching they will receive will benefit them throughout their lives.”
The scholarships can spread over up to three years and be worth well over £1,500 to a child. David added: “Such has been the success of this scheme that we plan on holding scholarship auditions annually from now on.”
