A BUSY summer has been enjoyed by youngsters taking part in Best Theatre Arts academies and holiday courses in St Albans.
At the academies, the children have been creating their own show from a skeleton plot and among the results have been entrepreneurial dragons taking over a medieval village, aliens learning how to have fun and youngsters working together with cheerleaders to save a school canteen.
The youngest children have had themed weeks around popular children’s tales – Beauty and the Beast, Pinocchio and Toy Story 3.
Next term Best is putting on its own specially-written pantomime Robin Hood and the Folkz in the Wood at the SandPit Theatre in Marshalswick. Further information can be found at www.besttheatrearts.com
