St Albans stage school goes mad for summer

MUSICAL Madness will be taking over a theatre on Saturday when a stage school puts on its annual summer celebration.

Entitled Musical Madness, it is full of songs and dances from all the big West End musicals including Joseph, Chicago, Oliver, Fame and many more.

The musical celebrates the success of Shooting Stars Academy which runs classes in St Albans and Welwyn Garden City and last weekend the youngsters performed some of the songs from the show outside the Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City.

The students are aged between five and 16 and the St Albans school meets between 10am and 1pm on Saturday at Beaumont School in Oakwood Drive.

Musical Madness is being performed at the Campus West Theatre in Welwyn Garden City at 2.30pm and 7.30pm and tickets at �8 with concessions �6, available from the box office on 01707 357117 or go to https://tickets.welhat.gov.uk/
