James Callàs Ball, 27, was a student at Beaumont School and went on to train at RADA. He will be performing in Drawn In which follows the story of a man who discovers anything he draws on a wall comes into existence at the touch of the button.

The one-off performance by (Speechless) Theatre Company is at the Maltings Arts Theatre this Saturday, July 23, and after that the play will return to London’s King’s Head Theatre.

The theatre company specialise in making original plays with no words, set in bizarre and vibrant worlds. Their work is influenced by clowning, mime and magic with the aim of leaving the audience speechless.

James said: “It is always a pleasure to perform to your hometown audience and I really hope people like the work our company makes. We make quite quirky work, so this is theatre that St Albans will rarely get to see.”

The performance, which is suitable for all ages, starts at 2.30pm and tickets are £10, available from here.
