Under the titled Noise Orchestra, the workshops at Homewood Road United Reformed Church, have been organised by Australian musician, educator and former member of the Spaghetti Western Orchestra, Graeme Leak, who now lives in St Albans.

They are open to all ages and skill levels and Graeme supplies all the instruments which range from objects like metal and plastic drums, wooden boxes, fuel tanks and tin cans to the real thing, drums, shakers, cowbells and whistles.

Graeme will teach rhythms borrowed from various world music traditions including African, Brazilian and Afro Cuban.

The workshops run for four weeks until March 19 and cost £5 per session.
