THE next generation of Michael McIntyres are invited to hone their skills at a stand-up comedy course which gets underway next Wednesday, January 12.
The Funny First Mondays comedy course is a structured and detailed five-week process that covers everything needed to start gigging as a stand-up comedian and offers support to those who have started performing.
The course, which is held at the Duke of Marlborough pub in Holywell Hill, St Albans, and runs for five consecutive Wednesdays starting a t7.30pm, will be taught by Mike Manera who regularly comperes Funny First Mondays at the Town Hall.
He is an accomplished stand up with over eight years experience who performs at the top level of live comedy.
