Students of a performing arts school played four sold-out nights at its annual show held at the Sandpit Theatre in St Albans last week.
The youngsters, aged from three to 16 who belong to the Excel Performing Arts School in London Colney, performed unique pieces choreographed and directed by West End performer Steven Houghton and former professional dancer Sam Payton who set up the school seven years ago.
Five hundred-plus costumes were used in the production entitled That’s Exceltainment.
In her speech at the end of the show, Sam described That’s Exceltainment as ‘the best Excel show ever’ and added that it was all about teamwork.
