AN INNOVATIVE competition for young musicians run by the St Albans Cathedral Music Trust has attracted plenty of entries.
It is open to all schoolchildren living in the St Albans area and youngsters can enter a number of different categories.
The winners will be awarded a �100 cash prize and invited to perform at a fundraising music gala dinner in the cathedral next May.
