FOURTEEN thought-provoking and challenging paintings, Stations of the Cross, are on display in the Refectory at St Albans Abbey until April 29.
They are the work of Linda Sallnow and combine the colours, shapes and facial expressions of the figures to convey the landscape of the Holy Land cut through with the shape of the Cross.
Admission to the exhibition, which is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, is free.
