A CELEBRATION of the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth is being held on Saturday. Radlett Choral Society and the New Mozart Orchestra are coming together with a programme featuring his Requiem, in addition to some of his earliest works. They are also recognising youthful creativity of today by giving the first public performance of a piece written by rising young composer Tom Rose, aged just 14. Tom's composition, Their Name Liveth for Evermore, was the winner of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission composition competition for 2005, Tom, who was recently interviewed about his work on Radio Four, will also attend the concert which starts at 7.30pm at St Michael and All Angels Church, Mildred Avenue, West Watford.
