Skate-punk band Gnarwolves play The Horn in St Albans next Wednesday, September 16, as part of a strong month of shows which includes Wheatus and The PictureBooks.

Formed in Brighton in 2011, brothers Thom and Max Weeks hooked up with fellow Cornishman and ex-Rasputin member Charlie Piper after he posted on Facebook about wanting to start a new band.

A love of skateboarding, gruff punk, and partying influences the Gnarwolves sound and after attracting a considerable following in Brighton, they toured Europe in 2012 with the likes of The Wonder Years, The Story So Far and Lower Than Atlantis.

At the beginning of 2014, American label Pure Noise collected together all of Gnarwolves’ previous releases on The Chronicles of Gnarnia, while the trio announced that their full-length debut album would be released towards the end of that year. 2014 also saw Gnarwolves play the Main Stage of Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Support at The Horn comes from Woahnow and Broadbay and tickets are £9 in advance and £11 on the door.
