ANOTHER season of Music in the Parks is getting underway this summer and interested acts need to apply now. Music in the Parks programmes a diverse range of musicians, bands and DJs over six gigs in various local parks and anyone wishing to perform needs to apply before next Friday, April 5.
That can be done either by emailing grae.wall@ leisureconnection.co.uk with details of a website where a biography and recordings can be found or by posting a demo along with relevant details to Grae J Wall, St Albans Arts, Sport & Health Team, St Albans District Council Offices, St Peter’s Street, St Albans, Herts AL1 3JE.
The Music in the Parks gigs draw hundreds of local residents and visitors from further afield to each event and are a showcasing opportunity for developing acts – all genres are welcome.
The final programme is put together by a panel of local promoters and music professionals in April.
