A MYTHICAL magical children's show suitable for youngsters aged three and upwards comes to the Maltings Arts Theatre in St Albans on Saturday afternoon week, February 4. Theatre of Widdershins are putting on The King's Got Donkeys Ears at 3pm, a tale which uses puppetry, storytelling and original music to tell the story. A walk in the woods should be for fun, play or a visit to grandma's but not for Good King Orik. He went in smiling and came out cursed with the great big furry ears of a donkey. Shocked and embarrassed, he hides away in his tower, desperately hoping that no-one will find out the secret hidden beneath his hat. But Scruffibus, the King's wise and faithful dog, cannot bear to see his master upset and realises something must be done. Tickets for the show are £4.20, available from the box office on 01727 844222.
