GEORGE Bernard Shaw's great play Arms and the Man is being performed at his home next week.
It will be staged at the home of the great Irish playwright, Shaw's Corner in Ayot St Lawrence, at 6.30pm from next Friday, July 24, until Sunday, July 26.
Michael Friend Theatre Company will be putting on Arms and the Man, one of Shaw's most popular plays, which uses fine wit and satire to deliver social criticism of the romantic notion of war as well as questioning the conventional values of marriage.
