ALMOST a year after their successful residency at The Horn, five-piece band The Scratch are returning to the St Albans music pub next Friday, October 8, to celebrate the digital release of DIY, their newly-reissued debut album.

With a new drummer, the band spent much of early 2010 honing a new live set of songs which they then road tested throughout the summer at events such as The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, the Recharged Radio Awards in London and most recently, the Endorse IT festival in Dorset.

DIY, which includes I Relax to Spiral Scratch and X-Ray Eyes, is available through all major download sites from next Sunday, October 10, and the band will be selling limited copies on the night.

Advance tickets for the launch party are on sale on the night for 6 and support comes from Kalazars, 50ft Woman and We Are White Worm.
