MUSIC scholars and award winners from St Albans High School will be putting on next week’s Wednesday lunchtime concert at a city centre church.
The programme at St Peter’s Church will include vocal and instrumental solo items together with a piano/string quartet by the likes of Kreisler, Mozart, Chopin, Schubert and Brahms.
In the past few years, High School musicians have appeared on the stages of the Royal Festival Hall, St John’s Smith Square, the Barbican and Birmingham Symphony Hall.
The concert, which is free, starts at 1pm and is in aid of Grove House.
