TALENTED musicians from Sandringham School’s music faculty will be giving next Wednesday’s lunchtime concert at a city centre church.
They will be performing a selection of choral, small ensemble and solo items, ranging from Schubert’s Sonatine D384 for violin to folk classic The Water Is Wide. There will be an opportunity to hear their string quartet, saxophone ensemble and two vocal groups in a varied concert.
The concert on October 17, which is free, starts at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, at 1pm with a retiring collection in aid of Iain Rennie Grove House.
