REGARDED as one of the finest brass bands in the country, The Salvation Army Central South Fellowship Band is putting on an autumn concert in St Albans next Saturday, October 23.
The band is appearing at Dagnall Street Baptist Church and will be accompanied by a Ladies Chorus who take a prominent part in the concert which starts at 7pm.
The band have travelled extensively throughout the UK and played to packed houses in Scandinavia and Kenya where they visited some of the poorest areas of the country and gave away a large number of their instruments to enable Salvationists to form their own band.
