CBEEBIES double act Chris and Pui are bringing their roadshow to the Alban Arena next Saturday, August 8.

The main faces on CBeebies since it started, Chris Jarvis and Pui Fan Lee are putting on two shows, the first at 11am followed by a second performance at 2pm.

The roadshow will be packed with songs, games and a few surprises along the way, not to mention Incy Wincy, Humpty Dumpty, the Grand Old Duke of York and Little Bo Peep all live on stage.

Aimed at pre-schoolers and their families with youngsters invited to bring along their teddy bears, dolls or character toys, tickets are �12.50 with under 16s �10, available from the box office on 01727 861078 or go to the website www.alban-arena.co.uk

The voice of Roy Orbison combined with Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers and The Rockets Live Band come to the Arena in a two-hour concert special The Voice of Roy Orbison next Sunday, September 9.

It features West End stars and internationaly-acclaimed singers as the icons of pop music performing such hits as Only The Lonely, It’s Over, Wake Up Little Suzie and Pretty Woman.

Damien Edwards, who played Roy Orbison in The Official Roy Orbison Story four times between 2000 and 2003, is appearing in the show which starts at 7.30pm.

n Sixties classic romantic comedy Breakfast At Tiffany’s is being shown at the Arena at 1.30pm and 7.30pm next Wednesday, September 5.

Struggling writer Paul Varjak moves into a New York apartment building and becomes intrigued by his pretty, quirky neighbour Holly Golightly.

But her lifestyle confuses and fascinates Paul; in public she flits through parties with a sexy, sophisticated zest for life but when they’re alone she changes into a sweetly vulnerable bundle of neuroses.

Ted is being screened at 5pm and 8pm next Thursday, September 6, and 7.30pm next Friday, September 7.

Written by Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy and American Dad, the comedy centres on John (Mark Wahlberg) as he makes a Christmas miracle happen by bringing his one and only friend to life, his teddy bear.

The two grow up together and John must then choose to stay with his girlfriend (Mila Kunis) or keep his friendship with his crude and extremely inappropriate teddy bear, Ted.

Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World (15) has its final showing at The Alban Arena at 7.30pm on Wednesday 5 September.
