Robert Fowler with the Clark Tracey Trio plays Herts Jazz Club this Sunday.
His visit to the club at the Hawthorne Theatre, Welwyn Garden City, follows a decade touring Europe with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, stints with Chris Dean’s Syd Lawrence Orchestra and appearances with the BBC Big Band and Humphrey Lyttelton’s band.
He also spent two years touring with Bryan Ferry’s Roxy Music.
Robert is now a busy presence on the mainstream scene with a sound influenced by tenor giants Hawkins and Webster.
Tenor Robert is joined by Clark Tracey, drums, Steve Melling, piano and Mark Levandowsky, bass.
