Welsh baritone Rhydian Roberts takes the Alban Arena stage next Friday, October 30, as part of a busy week at the St Albans theatre.
Rhydian, who made his name on The X-Factor in 2007 and has made the top spot in the classical charts, is celebrating the success of his classical crossover album One Day Like This.
Since The X Factor, Rhydian has had three sell-out solo tours and has appeared in acclaimed touring theatre productions of, amongst others, We Will Rock You and Jesus Christ Superstar.
He has duetted with some of the world’s great singers and has also presented and performed in his own Welsh language television series.
Rhydian will be supported by Miel De Botton with soprano Lucy Kay as special guest. The concert begins at 7.30pm.

Three modern greats of jazz come together when the Leroy Jones Quintet performs at the Arena at 7.30pm next Thursday, October 29.
Trumpeter Leroy is joined by Ian Shaw and Joe Stilgoe for a night of New Orleans swing.
A regular at Preservation Hall in New Orleans and a featured performer in the Harry Connick Orchestra, Leroy has performed on every continent and in every major US city at prestigious theatres, festivals and jazz clubs.

As it is half term week, the theatre is hosting several shows suitable for children and adults alike.
Next Monday, October 26, finds Louis Pearl, The Amazing Bubble Man, bringing his international hit show to the Arena
He explores the breath-taking dynamics of bubbles, combining comedy and artistry with audience participation and enough bubble tricks to appeal to any age from three to adult.
The show begins at 2pm and tickets are £12 with under-16s £10 and groups of 10+ at £8.50.
Dinosaurs come to life when Jurassic Adventures takes audiences back in time at 1.30pm next Tuesday, October 27.
A brand new show, set on a magical prehistoric island, it features puppets and life size dinosaur costumes as a team of explorers search for proof that dinosaurs still exist.
Tickets are £16, with under-16s £14 and family tickets £50.
The Hollywood Special Effects Show, demonstrating the secrets behind films and shows such as The Dark Knight Rises, The Phantom of the Opera, Gardens of the Galaxy and Game of Thrones, can be seen next Wednesday, October 28.
Among the special effects explored during the show are shoot outs and fight sequences, fireballs, sound effects, make up and prosthetics.
It begins at 7pm and tickets are £15.50 and £13.50.
Steve Backshall’s Wild World will be taking over the Arena for two shows next Saturday, October 31.
Wildlife TV presenter, adventurer, naturalist and writer Steve takes the audience on a tour of the real-life expeditions that have inspired his novels The Falcon Chronicles.
His stories include climbing some of the tallest mountains in the world, diving with Great White Sharks, wrestling venomous snakes and being hunted by a polar bear.
Performances are at 11am and 2.30pm and tickets are £18.50 with concessions £15.50.
