BIGAMIST John Smith’s plight after being involved in a mugging is brought to the stage next week by the Radlett Players.
The drama group, which puts on a major production twice a year, is staging Ray Cooney’s Run For Your Wife at the Radlett Centre from Wednesday, April 24, to Saturday, April 27.
It tells how London cabbie John has managed to enjoy three years of bigamy as a result of juggling his schedule and what happens when he lands in hospital after suffering concussion in the mugging.
Aided by his lazy, layabout neighbour, Stanley, he finds himself confronted by two prying police officers, two wives, the press and his gay neighbour Bobby.
Run For Your Wife starts at 8pm each evening and tickets at £11 with concessions £10 are available on Wednesday and Thursday, £12 on Friday and £13 on Saturday from the box office on 01923 859291 or www.radlettcentre.co.uk
