Cityscape and floral works by emerging artist Rachel Tighe are being exhibited at a St Albans gallery until next Monday, April 25.
The exhibition is hosted by Gallery Rouge in Chequer Street and showcases the work of an artist who builds, stretches and primes all her own canvases.
To create most of her paintings she travels and draws from real life in order to engage and get a feel of the location. She predominantly paints cityscapes, but is also exploring a bold colour palette and graphic mark making in her recent ‘Freesias’ paintings.
