The Dave Newton Quintet returns to Herts Jazz Club this Sunday, March 22.
The quintet, led by leading pianist Dave, was one of the Herts Jazz Festival highlights in 2012 and has been invited back to do it all again.
Dave is dripping with awards including being voted best jazz pianist in the British Jazz Awards for the 13th time in 2014.
He is joined by Martin Shaw, trumpet, Jim Hart, vibes, Dave Chamberlain, bass, and Matt Skelton, drums
The evening at the Hawthorne Theatre, Welwyn Garden City, gets underway at 7.30pm and tickets in advance from http://www.hertsjazz.co.uk/gigs.html are £3 students/£10 members/£13 concessions/£14 full.
