WELL-known TV and radio gardening personality Roy Lancaster is giving a celebrity lecture in Harpenden next Thursday, April 15.
Mr Lancaster, known as an enthusiastic and knowledgeable plant hunter, is speaking at Fowden Hall, Rothamsted Research, from 7.30pm.
The lecture has been arranged by the Herts and Beds Group of Plant Heritage and entrance is �12.50 including refreshments. Tickets can be obtained by sending an sae and cheque payable to NCCPG (Herts and Beds) c/o Margaret Easter, 23 Wroxham Way, Harpenden AL5 4PP or ring 01582 768467. Some tickets are likely to be available on the door on the night.
