THE up-and-coming Piatti String Quartet are giving the lunchtime concert at a city church next Wednesday, May 1.
The talented group include David Wigram (viola), Yuka Ishizuka (violin), Jessie Anne Richardson (cello), and Michael Trainor (violin).
They have won much acclaim for their performances at the Wigmore and Conway Halls Among their pieces at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, will be Mozart’s K589 in Bb and Schubert’s Quartetsatz.
Admission to the concert, which starts at 1pm, is free and proceeds will be donated to Grove House.
