WELL-KNOWN local pianist Lynn Carter is coming to lunch when she performs a concert in a city centre church next Wednesday, May 29.

Both an active chamber musician and a keen soloist, Lynn gives concerto performances and recitals in festivals and venues across the UK.

She has been selected to be a Park Lane Group Young Artist and in addition to her busy performing and teaching career, is staff accompanist at the Royal Academy of Music, Junior Department.

Her programme at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, from 1pm will include Mozart’s Sonata in B flat K 333 and Bach-Busoni Chaconne in D minor.

A retiring collection at the free concert is in aid of Grove House.
