ONE of the finest straight-ahead pianists working today, Brian Dee, comes to the Herts Jazz Club on Sunday.
Vastly experienced, his playing reflects not only the number of live jazz gigs he has done but also the skills he has acquired as a session musician.
He appeared on the early Elton John albums and has worked with such greats as Bing Crosby, Johnny Mercer, Peggy Lee and Fred Astaire.
Playing with Brian in the club at Campus West, Welwyn Garden City, will be Bill Coleman on bass and Clark Tracey on drums.
The evening gets underway at 7.45pm and tickets are 10 online at www.welhat.gov.uk/cw, 12 on the door and 5 for students and under-21s.
