PHIL Kelsall, theatre organist at Blackpool Tower Ballroom, is coming to St Albans for a concert this Saturday evening.
He will be appearing at St Albans Organ Theatre in Camp Road from 7.45pm where he will be playing the Wurlitzer pipe organ originally installed in the Granada Cinema in Edmonton.
Phil has been resident theatre organist at Blackpool Tower since 1977 when he was 21 and carries on the tradition of fine dance music at the Wurlitzer originated by the late Reginald Dixon.
Throughout the summer season, he leads the team of Blackpool organists and a for a short period in winter, he is able to tour.
