LEGENDARY acoustic troubadour Ron Trueman Border is playing in Rothamsted Park in Harpenden on Sunday.

He is taking part in Music in the Parks, put on by the district council to offer audiences an opportunity to watch acts from the local music scene and further afield in local parks.

One of the most respected and hard-working singer-songwriters on the acoustic circuit, Ron Trueman Border plays an accessible blend of folk, blues and country and has garnered both sell-out audiences and critical acclaim. His songs have been covered and recorded by many other artists and his live performances are renowned for switching between catchy fun numbers and works of deep emotion.

Also performing at the gig, which is running from 1.30pm to 5pm, will be Fat Walters Band,local stars in the making, Polly Poison and her Electric Antidote and The Papersnakes.

Music in the Parks is free.
