ONE of the oustanding organists of his generation, Joonho Park, is giving the next concert in a series at St Albans Abbey next Saturday, November 26.
Joonho has won first prize at three international organ competitions – Graz, Nuremberg and Dublin – as well as prizes at other competitions in his native Korea as well as Switzerland and Japan.
He will be performing from 5.30pm in the International Organ Festival Saturday Organ Concert series and has chosen music by Bach, Widor, Franck and Alain for his programme.
Entrance to the concert is free with a retiring collection in aid of the International Organ Festival Society. There will also be a chance for the audience to meet Joonho.
