LOCAL musician Nicholas Hare is giving an organ recital in the city centre next Tuesday lunchtime, October 18.
He will be playing selections from Bach’s Goldberg Variations with shorter works by Herbert Howells and the Elizabethan composer Orlando Gibbons.
The recital is organised by the New School of Organ Studies (NSOS) at Marlborough Road Methodist Church in St Albans, and entrance is free with donations invited to NSOS and the church.
Buffet lunches will be available between midday and 12.20pm and after the recital which starts at 12.30pm.
