GIG-goers heading down to The Horn on Wednesday will be getting their groove on if headline act Nowfire has anything to do with it.

The up and coming band is playing the St Albans venue for the second time in an event put on by promotions group Juicebox.

Bassist Josh Darlington explained that the main aim of the band's material is to get people to dance. He continued: "We take inspiration from dance music to the current indie scene. We mix in a few killer solos and some catchy lyrical hooks to really get the crowd going."

Sean Wiseman, lead guitarist, said: "We're really looking forward to the gig at The Horn. St Albans is an excellent place to play and it should be a great night with loads of cool bands."

Nowfire, who originally formed in Borehamwood and also include Marc Swift on vocals and James Dodds on drums, will appear on stage at 10.55pm for a 30 minute set.

Three other bands are also on the bill - Sweetcornbread, Awesome Feline and Tre A'Dem.
