Neale meets Steele when two styles comes together at Herts Jazz Club this Sunday, February 28.
Influenced by the great West Coast altoists, American-born Allison Neale’s new quintet features vibraphonist Nathaniel Steele, a young jazz musician in the American bop tradition.
Neale Meets Steele brings the two styles together to create a musical tension that is balanced by a rhythm section of top jazz musicians.
The jazz club meets at the Hawthorne Theatre in Welwyn Garden City and the evening gets underway at 7.30pm. Tickets in advance are £3 students/£8 members/£10 concessions/£11 full.
On the door they are £5 students/£9 members/£12 concessions/£13 full.
