INVENTIVE and mature musician Nathaniel Facey is appearing with his quartet at the Herts Jazz Club on Sunday evening.

Once a student at the Royal Academy of Music, he was an original member of Tomorrow’s Warriors, later joined Jazz Jamaica All Stars and more recently has received international exposure through his work with Empirical.

His influences extend from bebop through to gospel and soul and still in his late twenties, he has already recorded alongside Jack DeJohnette, Courtney Pine, Tim Garland and Gary Crosby.

He is appearing at the club which meets at Campus West, Welwyn Garden City, from 7.45pm and tickets are �10 online at www.welhat.gov.uk/cw, �12 on the door and �5 for students and under-21s.
